I’m an artist, educator, and the author of the FORCE drawing book series. For over 25 years, I’ve been passionate about helping artists bring their drawings to life through the principles of Force - a method I developed to capture the energy, rhythm, and storytelling behind every pose. My approach isn’t about copying what you see, but about understanding why a pose exists and how to express it with power and clarity.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach at some of the world’s top art institutions like ArtCenter College of Design, CalArts, and School of Visual Arts, and I’ve worked with amazing companies including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, DreamWorks, and Nickelodeon. These experiences have shaped the way I teach and draw, always focusing on the artist’s ability to see and feel the Force in every subject.
Drawing is about more than just anatomy or structure, it’s about telling a story with every line. Whether it’s through my books, online courses, or live workshops, my goal has always been the same: to guide artists toward creating more dynamic, expressive, and emotionally resonant work.Â
